STEAMFEST
The Steamfest Show and Shine is held in Maitland Park on the Sunday of the Steamfest Event, usually April, and is run by Maitland Street Rodders. Entry gates open at 6:30am and entry is $10 per car and once the parking area is full the gates are closed. Money raised goes to the charity Firstchance. Presentation is between 1:30pm and 2pm where about 26 trophies, supplied by Maitland Council, are handed out. There are also 10 lucky entrant bags given out on the day.
It is a great day with plenty to see at the Show and Shine and also plenty to see at the Rally Ground which is an easy walk over the highway. There are food and coffee vans around the Steamfest area. Have a look at the Steamfest web page which can be accessed via our Link to Associate Sites page.
