Steamfest
In April 2013 the Maitland Steamfest annual Show and Shine took place on the Sunday. This year the weather gods were good to us and we had the largest event in the history of Steamfest. Six Hundred cars and bikes turned up for the day and the park was bursting at the seams. The presentation saw more people watching than ever before and 38 trophies were handed out along with 10 lucky entrant prizes. First Chance, the charity Maitland Street Rodders support were there and they gave a great thank you speech to all the entrants. Maitland Street Rodders are proud that this year the event raised $3000 for charity and that everyone seemed to enjoy the day. Thanks to all the members of our club that assisted. The day was so successful that after the event we all sat around and talked with the last members leaving the park at 5:30pm after being there since 6am. Well done everyone.
Liberty Rodders Singleton Army Base Day
Liberty Rodders were kind enough to ask our members to join them on an outing to Singleton Army Base. Several of our members took up the invitation and had a terrific day. Here are some of the photos taken.
Bull and Bush Medowie
A sunny day saw over 150 cars turn out for this Show and Shine which is increasing in popularity each year. With a band, dancers, good meals and of course the cars you have all the ingredients of a great day out. Everyone who went seemed to enjoy themselves and will look forward to next years event.
Autobarn Rutherford
Autobarn Rutherford had their birthday celebrations on the long weekend in June and some of our members attended the event. Numbers were down which was probably due to many people being away over the long weekend.
