Windsor
This years Windsor Car Show was held at the end of July and four of our members travelled the distance to attend the event. Over 250 cars turned up on a good winters day and as it was a long way from home a lot of the cars have not been seen before by our members. Those that went had a great day a good drive which was made even better when Dan won the Dare to be Different trophy for his 1936 Morris. Thanks for the pictures Paul.
Townsville
In July Norm and Mavis headed north to see friends in Townsville. While there they had the opportunity to go on a garage crawl and rod cruise being leant a 34 Chev to drive, thanks Tom. On the way home from Townsville they called into a rod shop and another friends home. Thanks Norm for the photos.
Maguiar's Motorex Sydney
A few of our members went to this years Maguiar's Motorex in Sydney and from all reports it is the best they had seen. So many big dollar cars with massive amounts of money spent on paint and every other component. To add to the atmosphere they had drag cars start up their engines every half an hour. A great show that is now only in Sydney every 2nd year but it is worth saving your money so that you can attend. Thanks for the pictures Ian.
Cameron Park
A Show and Shine held at the Cameron Park Go Cart track in December helped raise money for Breast Cancer. The weather was fine and a great number of cars turned up to support the event which was a huge success. It was a terrific venue for a car show and Autobarn once again played a major role in the organization and running of the event.
